2016 Ford F-150 XLT.

Got lazy and didn't get to introduce the 2016 F-150 XLT SuperCrew!

Purchased a few months before the VW Jetta TDI was bought back as the new daily driver. Was looking for something a little different with a large cargo capacity for holding RC stuff.

Some Notes:
  1. This is the Eco-Boost V6 which packs a punch! Supposed better MPG than non turbos but I have had difficulty getting better than 17 mpg combined.
  2. Good visibility for the driver and others.
  3. Smooth and quiet ride.
  4. Being the SuperCrew version, the cabin space is huge! 6 Passenger with ease. Baby/kid seats anchor easily and have plenty of leg room.
  5. Truck bed is rather large!
  6. Reverse camera helps a lot!
Modifications:
  1. Front window tinted.  Max legal.
  2. Black exhaust tip.
  3. Husky mud flaps.
  4. 3.5 inch running boards.
  5. Husky mud floor mats.
  6. Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Tonneau Cover.
  7. Bedtred Ultra Truck Bed Liner.
  8. Mini antenna.
  9. DeeZee Tailgate Assist. (not installed yet).
Future Projects:
  1. Black rims with BF Goodrich AT KO2.
  2. Exhaust?
  3. Bumpers?
First Day Meet and Greet.

Mudflaps and Black Exhaust Tip.
First Nail.

Update.
Traded F-150 for the A5 in January 2020. The main reason (besides subpar mpg and tough to park) was that I was left stranded at work one late evening. Turns out some animal chewed through my wires in the engine bay which disconnected my starter to the engine! Upon further research, I found that Ford uses a soy based wire coating on all wires for earth friendliness. So friendly that it attracts animals to gnaw on it! Towed it to the Ford dealership and they charged me around $1400 to fix and no shield could be fastened to it to prevent further damage. So, unfortunately, I cannot take that risk of being stranded again and had to part ways.
