2019 Summer Flying.

Two Avanti S's.

It's that time of year again when me second cuz from Cali comes up to visit to do some intense flying for a couple weeks or so.

Unfortunately, none of my helis are in flying condition so I flew the Avanti S and it was a blast.  Think I'm getting used to the handling of a jet because it just doesn't feel as fast as it once was. Three flights with the Admiral 5000 6s packs. Flights are about 3:30 a piece, which is too short!

Note: lots of hangar rash when transporting in the truck. Need to figure out a way to stabilize it better.

Lots of dirty Battle Wings meles as well.  Fun and mental.

8-6-19:
Three flights on the Avanti S with Q.  Knife edge and low fly bys galore.  Also a formation landing was done!  Battle wings as well.

8-7-19:
Three flights on the Avanti S with Q.  All good and fun.
Two flights on the Goblin 570!  Remaidened after the Castle Creations ESC burned up on take off!  New Hobbywing 120 ESC installed.  Changed governor to the IKON which was surprisingly easy.  Much easier to program than the Castle Creations.

Note: All future helis of mine with be Hobbywing ESC and EC5 connectors.

Lots of Battle Wing chaos as well which was fun.  Five in the air is a blast.  Although I believe it does mess up my fine controls for jet and helis!  Oh well!

8-10-19:
Four successful flights on the Goblin 570.  All very tame flights as I've not done much simulator.

Three flights on the Avanti S.  One with Q, and the rest solo.  Practiced some of my aerobatics such as split s, four point rolls, and inverted.  Such fun.  Time to replace the fuselage soon.
