After getting a new Lynksys router I have started to make use of the wireless online capabilities of the PS3. Right now I'm really entertained with COD MW free for all. The loading times is great and the lag is almost nonexistent which makes for online first person shoot'em up fun. Those online gamer people are really good and I can't even imagine how many hours they log on per day. Yikes.
GT is fun as well, but it takes a long time to load an online race. Also the opponent cars seem to be jittery. I noticed that next to each of the online screen names, it lists the country they are from. My brother and I were racing against people from Japan and Italy. They're good drivers.
The PS3 is simply awesome, especially with the blazing fast online wireless gaming!
I also have a Linksys wireless router and use it to download Rock Band songs (occasionally) and surf the web on the PS3. Haven't done any online gaming. I thought you'd need a wired connection for speed, but it's nice to know you're doing fine with wireless. Also watched a few Blu-Ray movies on the PS3. Nice!
