iLike iPad.

Got an iPad for my birthday from the wife and it has been one of the best electronic devices I have ever owned. At first I thought it was nearly impossible to improve on the iPhone and the thought of an oversized iPhone was ridiculous, but I was so very wrong. Got the 16 gig 3G iPad and it has defined it's own identity apart from the iPhone in my eyes. The iPad display is not only larger than the iPhone but also crisper which makes viewing more comfortable for longer periods of time. Additionally, the battery life is about ten hours which is amazing! I only charge this bad boy once or twice a week and that is with daily usage (internet browsing, games, and Netflix). Speaking of Netflix, the movies stream wonderfully on the iPad plus you are able to edit your DVD and instant queues. Not just the instant queues, like on the iPhone. Got the Apple black cover which seems to protect the screen and backing nicely and also serves as a stand for the iPad. Start up times are light speed compared to PC or laptops which makes doing a quick email check or Google search a breeze. Turn iPad on, check email, turn iPad off... all in less than a minute.

We liked it so much, that I got one for my wife as well. Bravo Apple. Go ahead and take a bow.

  1. +1 on the iPad! We might get one of those bluetooth keyboards for it later. I so slow with touch screen keys.

  2. Yes, the virtual keyboard is difficult to use. I got the docking station keyboard and it works fine. Bulky though, not good for on the go. Bluetooth one probably mo bettah.
