Sundowner.

The Sundowner 36 is the first Hanger 9 plane that I have ever bought/assembled and I am impressed by the quality. Beautiful covering job and the construction is light, sturdy and professionally assembled. Decided on this plane after a fellow club member bought the same plane. Instead of going with an electric power plant like him, I will be going the non green way with nitro. An Evolution 40 glow engine to be precise. It is the upper recommended limit, so I hope it's fast. We are having a competition to see which is faster, glow versus electric. I'm betting his will be way faster, but mine will be louder.  Booya.

Assembly was fairly simple without many hiccups along the way.  Although it took nearly a year to build, I'm very satisfied with the build quality and overall looks of the plane.  Hope its fast.  Will maiden this weekend if weather permits.

  1. Louder is better. It makes you feel fast. That is the main thing. Cool Beans.

  2. If it doesn't smell, it ain't swell. If it isn't noisy, it ain't boyzy. If it ain't greasy, it's too easy peasy. If it's so radz, it must be Tadz! Congrats on getting r done...finally!
