Went to the dealership with my Dad to get the CR's first oil change. Luckily, I was able to get a 15% discount which made the bill a little easier to swallow! I'm happy that the oil has to be changed only once a year or every 20,000 miles, which ever comes first. While waiting, I was bad and test drove a black 911 S with PDK. Very powerful beast yet handles very similarly to my CR. I'm impressed.
On the way back home, we took the longer curvier route home and got to enjoy the CR in its element. Beautiful dry weather and clear roads for the most part! This bad boy tracks well and the steering is near telepathic. Also, finally past the break in period of 2000 miles so I got to let'er rip past 4000 rpm and wow does it scream! I was too scared to go past 6000 rpm!
Got home, refueled, washed it and tucked it away in its garage spot. What a day...!
It was a fun ride and visit to see more Boxsters. Soon we can drive the twisties with two Porsches!
