On October 10, 2021, I did the unthinkable and sold my 991 to givemethevin.com. After negotiating, I got what I believed to be a fair offer. Used car prices are sky rocketing due to the pandemic and low supply of computer chips. Ultimately, I suffered a 15k depreciation from MSRP after 8 years of ownership. Not so bad. It was bittersweet to leave her at the Manheim auction, but I believe it will go to a better place and get driven more often. The ownership was fun and will always be remembered.
