Installed the dash cam! Not so bad as far as difficulty. First, installed the micro SD card into the dash cam. Then cleaned inside of window before applying clear window film. Found a reasonable location and double stick taped the dash cam in place. Ran wires along the window seams. Originally ran it down A pilar, but found that it was overlapping airbag, so ran it a different route. Unfortunately, could not hide wire along the bottom portion of the pilar and dash, so hid it along the crevice as best as possible. Powered by cigarette 12v outlet, so no parking mode for now. Due to dash cam being placed to the right of rear view mirror, the video is always skewed a bit to the right. Overall, fairly satisfied. Inconspicuous enougnto be ignored while driving.
