My Wife and I finished watching Transformers on Blu-Ray and both enjoyed it just as much as the first time at the theaters. We have Transformers on DVD as well and I can tell the difference between the two formats. Picture quality and sound are improved on Blu-Ray... maybe sound a little more. Seemed like I heard nuance sound effects that I didn't detect on the DVD. For example, during scenes with the the actual transformers I could hear more mechanical sounds emitting from them. Little details are cool. The special features (on disk 2) caught my interest for a change because it referred to the generation 1 transformers multiple times (my childhood heroes). Usually, I find special features are quite boring and basically a waste of a disk. Overall, great movie and I give it 9.8 thumbs up. As a courageous robot from Cybertron once said, "Autobots, roll out."
(Note: Picture above has nothing to do with the movie. It's Starscream, masterpiece by Takara)
