After a quick and ugly repair job, the Avanti S was ready for flight. Three flights, all successful, at Keizer. Flew with Quang who had his new Avanti S as well. What a blast. Some of the memorable passes were inverted and knife edge. Lots of vertical with these jets. Landings were easy. I prefer grass runways as opposed to the hard surface at Dallas. First two landings were without flaps. Comes in hot. The second was with take off flaps and it sure slows it down. Great fun.

Also, maiden my 3 year old son's Traxxas TRX-4 Sport truck. Runs well and he is getting the hang of it very rapidly. He can navigate left and right and eases the throttle well. Need to figure out if ESC can be programmed to have auto brake.
